I did get all of the debris - the report is at the bottom of the CR. His 39 recyclers were also out, and I spotted them on phalanx as well. I sent a second fleet to hit them on their return too, but it wasn't a HoF - it was only about 900k debris, I think, so I didn't even mention it. But yes, I phalanxed TricKstA's planet and saw first the fleet, and then the recyclers returning, so I hit both of them. I apologize if my description was confusing.
The fuzzy pink ships strike again! I saw this fleet returning from an attack on another planet, and decided to recycle it, because it looked very yummy. I lost my BCs than I was bargaining for, but the profits are still good. I wish TricKstA a quick and hopefully easy recovery.

I had just failed on trying to phalanx hit a deploy (it would have been worth it!), and was looking around elsewhere before giving up for the night when I spotted this fleet on phalanx. It was just a couple of minutes before I would've needed to launch my BCs, so I didn't have time to get my recyclers there close to the battle, and then for some reason I was short 6 recyclers after the hit. I don't know what happened - I thought I had already sent a fair amount more than the simulation had called for, but it's alright. I missed about 115k metal, but I got everything else.
The defender was a good sport about it, and I wish her a rapid recovery and much luck in the game.
