So the def made a mobile colony close to us.... 
We then watched him for a couple of days under phalanx. We had another opp to crash him and his 7 death stars but we couldnt get enough people to help so we waited and watched. Sure enough he sent his ships out without his deathstars on a 5 hr attack mission ten systems away. we watched under the phalanx to make sure it wasnt a trap or maybe a stupid FS. We were not sure why he thought that was a good idea or maybe he thought no one would try for him because hes top dog.......well he was wrong. We wanted have our attack time under 2 hrs so he couldnt jump some of his other ships to his other planet in g4 to help because it was a close battle. Recs were going to be an issue so we built what we could and launched them all. got about 2700 recs of deb. Besides that figured we had nothing to lose, the uni is dying not many targets left so after seeing what we could get we went for it. I texted thundr and told him to dust off his ships because were going in raw. thundr started the attack because he had a 2hr FT. bandit joined and I joined after and then i slowed the attack to get it right. Sure enough. It worked out good for us.
DEF and his allies were able to capture a lot of the Debris. they were online for the whole attack i watched all of his neighbors panic and send recs. watching the timer with no way to save his ships 
I imagine he DM some ships and rec the rest. WE ARE ALL FINE WITH THAT. Rather see him keep playing and learn from his mistakes...maybe even a revenge hit???? 
We didnt make any profit on the attack but it was well worth it in our eyes. We can rebuild what we lost and be stronger within a week or two...... it was just nice to take down the #1 fleeter...and it was another punch at academy
