  • No, I am not saying most players in our community would do something illegal, Fox. I was not trying to correlate what happens here with 4chan. I was making the point that our Board is not one with no rules. Many times people think some harmless spam is no big deal. And compared to the things you mentioned, it isn't. But allowing a free for all spam fest is not what the owners of the Board want. Further, whatever the majority of the community makeup this is a family website and game and there are families that play here. There are many players who are legitimately offended by some of the trolling that gets warned or the pictures that are posted.

...and FYI, just this week someone posted pornography on the boards so that does happen too. Hopefully we got to it before many people saw it. Steps were taken to make sure that person can't post again. Point is many things happen the entire community is likely not aware of and the mods seek to make the community happy...not just individual players. So...mods are not perfect but the vast majority of warnings issued are, in our opinion, justified and necessary. Its also true the vast majority of players do not regularly accumulate warnings. ;)

  • Stay on the right side of the line and all is good, mods get fat and lazy. Too much easy going and giving people friendly warnings ends up looking like this, no point is there, the good old dont do that again or ill threaten to do something next time.
