That all these great barym discussions are closed. Everyone i have read so far has been awesome and i really wanted to post but i find one of these green demons have closed it. 
I wish to open a discussion on the mods being banned from the barym board section.
This is for the excitement of all.
Borg is leaving so Mods have no parent to keep them in check

Barym section mods have been fair imo. The board rules have their place, mods discretion has a place, playets responsibility has a place. Believe it or not mods don't like 
all the time, we want to be liked just like any other people do. We can work and play together and enjoy each other easily, there are far more good users that bring healthy discussion and good hits to the boards than trolls 
If there's problems or you feel you were treated unfairly contact the mods smod or higher up the chain. The staff works on a team and we have discussions about board issues often, your words as players never falls on deaf ears.

Honestly Nardoon, Florence has been more than fair when it comes to trolling/warnings and you really can't ask for a more lenient mod lol... its much better off this way rather than the insta-lock regulation we used to get in the past 
I would personally much rather get told to "stop trolling/spam before warnings are handed out" than a list of "ninja warnings"

Yea tbh florence is by far the most lenient mod I've seen. I agree with frat, I wish they would just let you know if you keep doing trolling, they let you know and will warn you next time over that subject you trolled on rather than these warnings out of no where.
edit: also flo hates io more than all of the unis he mods which includes bayrm and uni 35 and some others. So yea take that bayrm! But he is still very nice to most of us (except HA for good reasons)

Jusr FYI Flo had it beaten into him from me he warned me for really really stupid stuff at the start and well you know me. In fact i can tell you the kindness of the mods these days is from a long campaign from my self to get the mods to cut there stupidity out. I would show the the Pms that got thrown around but that would only just get me banned again ha ha but some others have seen them on skype so it can be verified.
In any case this thread was made for fun nothing else so to put it simply.
The reason Io is such a joy to mod is all the "joyful" users from barym went to Io and now barym is a happy little place full of ponies and rainbows

Simple you dont follow the rules you get warned, you get warned enough you get a time out, too many time outs you dont come back.
You do not get to say what you think here there is other people who visit this page as well, follow the rules and you dont get warnings simple enough really.

I should ignore this but they have SMODs and Myself to check valid warnings and i have yet to see one over turned in the last 6 months so they are doing a great job.

The overwhelming majority of warnings issued are clear violations of posted rules. A common response is "c'mon, man! You're lame! I was just having some fun! Let us have some fun, you pig!" But however benign the warned may think the post was, it's very rare to see a warning issued that was not, in fact, a written rule violation. And...I very rarely see a ticket or get a PM accusing a mod of being unfair. Let's all be honest. The biggest violators on the Board are long time users and know exactly what the rules are. They just sometimes don't care and then accuse the mods of being power hungry for not letting Gameforge's website become 4chan.
...and about the thread. The discussion is fine but please take care not to insult mods (or anyone else). Discussing a specific ban is also a well known no-no on the boards. So please don't do that.

Just kidding, from what I've seen, the Moderators are quite fair, and even overly fair (I've been PM'ed a few times I messed up on a CR posting or HoF posting rather than warned). Keep doing what you are doing mods!

Oh just to point out i am well aware of the rules and there was a few warnings handed out over 6 months ago that where not in the rules but as i have been in jail last 6 months i would not know what has happened in that time and as it seems all the posters have become boring

I can't put my head around this but, how is trolling and playfully poking people compare anywhere near with (a) child pornography, (b) organizing raids, (c) posting shock sites? If you saw even a sample of the stuff from 4chan, you would probably hear about lawyers here cause of the content. google reddit 4chan forum moderator, they tell you even worse stories than you can imagine.
So your reasoning is if you don't warn us over small things such as poking people or talking clever trash (which is part of the game btw), we could step over to child pornography, and/or post on here to raid/ddos a certain site just because we feel like it. 
I understand about the compugasm thing and I appreciate the leeway and how I didn't get a warning from it, but really google compugasm, he deserves to have his picture on there.
