In an attempt to slow down the S*** throwing I have started (sorry) I'd like to revert to the main issue which is it looks like hes using bots (again.... maybe thats totally allowed) but hes also claiming to be a GO (see screenshot above) to multiple people, and admin clarified "hes not a GO HERE". Admin DID NOT say hes not a GO anywhere else, admin DID NOT say " he shoulden't be namedropping his GO status in chat where he isnt a GO" , admin didnt say anything about any wrong doing here on Inprotests part. In fact, admin encouraged and emphasised the win of the battle this thread started about. Not the clearest discussion for sure, but I tried to just walk away at that point because its abundantly clear there wont be a perfect answer that makes everyone happy/understand everything, and I also don't really care that much tbh lol. I just wanna know we aren't dealing with a rogue GO with a distinctly unfair advantage, which admin says we aren't so what else can i say to that thats productive? Right?

This is the base issue that most of us have with this player. look at the auction page history. I can speak from experience in a bunch of these auctions that he wins, he doesn't place a single bid more than 5-10 seconds or less before the end of the auction. ever. And he's not just "next highest bid (the double orange arrows)" button and bidding, he's punching in varying amounts (almost always the same number in different order/quantity 2.222 or 2.222.222 or 3.333 or 3.333.333) and faster than we can click the next bid and submit buttons. so he's either got unworldly hand eye coordination coupled with a manic obsession at refreshing the auction page to get the times down to under 10 seconds, or hes using a bot/script. And him making comments that he's a GO just implies to the rest of us that he knows how to get away with it and or the GO's that are "investigating" the tickets submitted are either covering up what he's doing (being furthered by the fervent defensed of the PLAYER, not the game by other GO's on this board).

at the end of the day, the end result is you have alot of players left with a really bad impression of the game that alot of us have spent alot of time (and money in some cases) on and are less and less likely to continuing to play/spend.

I understand GF has to make money, its a business after all, and im not knocking that! Also....I'm sure there are other game companies and entities that employ tactics like this (placing advantaged players among the rest of them to boost sales/microtransactions)....but I have never in my life seen a sadder excuse of seemingly non-grass-touching game players ( even worse...presumably on payroll from the game provider) literally directly mocking a server's top players for their decision to spend their money on their game, especially as a direct result of the actions of said "game operators" in game. Get control of yourselves! People spending money here is literally your job, congrats on doing the one thing you've been sent to do. Celebrate that at the watercooler not the damn battle report forums.

Now that I've said that onto the gameplay itsself...

I believe Stefel and Crido are likely the same player based on Vmode timings, fleet movements, previous battle data and more. There I said it.... I can't prove this with certainty but I have had this assumption for some time. Both accounts are truely solid, not knocking the setup unless it was achieved in the same maner as Inprotest's setup via auction bots and seeminly clairvoyant moon destruction missions. Frankly after seeing this thread, I wouldent rule out all 3 attackers involved as being controled by the same person, or all "game operators", but AT BEST a group of highly skilled players who appear to tie their neckbeards together on the weekends (for the record there is nothing wrong with skilled players teaming up).

Ban me if this is too inflamatory of a comment here. Just trying to get a point across about professionalism and the blatantly apparent inbalance of play by "game operators". Multiple requests from a number of players to support for clarification on things end in replys of " I check" and then no real follow up at all.

Could not have said it better LC. So very upsetting that you have players who are compensated by the entity offering the game openly mocking other players/customers for their choices in game play. like you said, seems very suspect that you clearly have game operators policing themselves and each other and that they are seemingly always at the top of the boards, on the winning side of so very many auctions and attacks. But i'm sure "they are checking" on it......

Wow, seems odd that someone with such close connections to the inner workings of game has such impressive luck in the auction house and with some of these hits....

anyway good hit i guess, another nail in the coffin of a dyeing universe i guess.

I'm all for Lifeforms, bring it on, would add another exciting dimension to the game. please add it in!!!
