So story behind this hit, basically I saw his fleet sitting the other day and knew that he wasn't fleetsaving while he slept. He has made this sort of error before when he feels over confident and turtles up thinking it will protect him. I mobile'd in and moon'd up with help from Hunter so that I could safely use my RIP's. This is the result. I believe we are at E? I've got another top 10 I wasn't able to post until now, but I'll have to find it somewhere in my logs. It has been a long and busy few weeks, but I am glad to have finally gotten a promotion and some much needed time off from work. Hopefully I'll be able to make a few more posts now

Defender came out of Vmode today so I gave him a probe just to see where things were sitting. Found his fleet near my G5, but since there was activity I decided to wait for later. Plus I still had LF's to que and res to spend from earlier so I wasn't in a hurry. He'll normally fleetsave from g5 to g6 or g4 so I when I saw activity on his g4 planet early this morning I probed and was surprised to not really find much there, but after checking his g5 it made more sense. Crashed probe, sent recs, waited for timer, launched speed ships.
Boom. The rest is history. GLOTR defender.

Okay so I've been tracking Shadow for a while now. I gave him his moon in G6 about a month or so ago for about 9 M in res, this was back when 9 M was a respectable amount. Since then he's been building up fleet steadily and has been doing a good job of evading me. My first attempt was after getting his fleetsave times down, but I was a few minutes late and my window wasn't big enough for xgal so I had to make him my neighbor in order for things to work out. Second attempt was on a lanx time back, but it seems I was too close for my own good and he lagged into safety just barely. (I think the lobby was a great improvement to the game, things haven't been weird at all since it came online >.>) So now we have today. I probed, saw it sitting with 0 activity and sent, shortly after my launch I saw some activity and waited. Probed again and slowed ever so slightly waiting for timers and sure enough everything started counting down as it should. I was still a little weary so I slowed and checked for Khell. No Khell so all good. With my other hits from yesterday and today I wasn't built back up enough to take him alone and Hunter was a little late to the party so he could only offer rec support. So he probed in to help me get the winnings and sent a follow up to ensure we made RIP proud and wiped out those 3 pesky Battle Cruisers along with his 11 M in res. ShadowKnight I want to give you props for being an honorable opponent and not scooping what you could from the DF. GLOTR to both of us since this was a monster of a hit to myself as well, but here goes the NN1 Solo, but since I needed recs it's the NN2 ACS

So this makes part 2. From the same moon ABC was so nice to give me many weeks ago Ninja, I launched xgal to make this hit. My recs were a little off as I was unsure of my window so he managed to come online and pick up about 20M. All in all it's been a good day and I wish you luck on the rebuild. Well things have been kind of quiet for a while now and it's kind of a mixed bag because it's not like their aren't hits being made. Just that most of them aren't being posted.
