    Unforuanate that Gameforge has taken a once glorious game that took months to build up nice healthy accounts through trial and error and allowed, for the most part, the inexperienced player to survive not through thee trials of fire and burned ships that older players have gone through, but through "noob protection" and dark matter/auction/import.


    Almost all of the players I've interacted with have mentioned that 1) they have been here playing this game in some form for years or 2) had quit a while go and come back for round 2, like me.which says, to me, that Gameforge is failing to attract and keep new players, but rather that it attracts new players who play for a while and quit because they got to 50k points and saw mine or another players thousands of lf, hfs and bships/bc descending upon their fleets because they don't know how to fleetsave.

    I agree with you guys wholeheartedly on this. I have the benefit of re starting in ogame after not playing for several years. I played in the old uni6.org... BEFORE they redesigned everything. When Andromeda first came out on the .org server I knew the redesign was no good. I lost a lot of fleet bumbling around just over 5k points. When I got back into the game in Fornax I'm a heck of a lot better because of this experience. I'm just over 500k points and half of the universe is in noob protection, and the other half has realized it's dangerous to keep fleets out because even small fleets make nice profit, so they just don't build them. There are so many more features like items, commanders, and insta-finish bonuses, that if I had money it would take me about half the time to build up to where I am atm. This game has turned into a pay-to-win while I've been gone, which sort of takes the point out of it.


    Furthermore, one of the problems playing in Fornax is the 70% to df, while fleets will be picked apart for half as many ships as in a 30% uni, it makes it that much harder to build and keep fleet, which means more turtles and mminers with nothing fun to kill.


    Another point: VMode zombies have taken over the galaxy.


    There are accounts that have been in Vmode for too long, and should perhaps be brought out of vmode to free up that res and keep it in the uni.
