Here is the french rule :

    Quote

    Partage d'AG / DG

    • Le partage de rentabilitĆ© lors d'une AG/DG est libre entre les participants de cette AG/DG Ć  partir du moment où chacun est au minimum remboursĆ© de ses pertes et ce quelle que soit la participation Ć  l'AG/DG (sondes d'espionnage et autres vaisseaux en quantitĆ© insuffisantes exclus) ;

    Profit sharing for an ACS attack/defense is at the discretion of the participants, provided that everyone is at least reimbursed for their losses, regardless of their contribution to the ACS attack/defense (excluding espionage probes and other ships sent in insufficient quantities);

I wish to propose the addition of this rule to prevent abuses such as the one documented here: [TOT: 118.410.274.000] WTF [CETUS] & Kotek [CETUS] & Gullum [CETUS] vs. Lordphantom [Fr_Kiss] (A: 10.075.589.000, D: 108.334.685.000)

This is not only an abuse of the system, but it also highlights a severe lack of transparency. It is unclear what kind of agreement this alliance managed to negotiate with the US staff, which is unacceptable. What are the parameters here? Is it 5% for some and 50% for others?

How can we agree to play a game where the rules are enforced selectively?

No staff members are providing actual answers; they are merely reacting with likes. This is highly unprofessional.

    Pulling / ACS with probes

    Alliance : Cetus

Players involved: WTF (Top 1), Kotek, Gullum

    Dear Game Staff, and players

I am writing to officially raise a concern regarding a widespread practice that appears to be a blatant circumvention of Rule 4.1 (Pulling), as observed in a recent Combat Report (link: [TOT: 118.410.274.000] WTF [CETUS] & Kotek [CETUS] & Gullum [CETUS] vs. Lordphantom [Fr_Kiss] (A: 10.075.589.000, D: 108.334.685.000)).

The Context: Rule 4.1 limits pulling (resources sent from a stronger to a weaker player) to 500M per week for players in the Top 20 or with over 2bn economy points. It also explicitly states: "It is forbidden to manipulate legal trade rates to circumvent the pulling rules" and emphasizes that "Same rules of 'fair play' apply."

The Issue: In the reported HoF, the player "WTF" (Top 1) shared billions of resources with players "Kotek" and "Gullum". These players are significantly weaker and, crucially, their participation in the combat was purely symbolic (sending a single Espionage Probe).

The Argument: While Rule 4.1 notes that "profit sharing" from ACS is not considered pulling because the receiver "provides value in return", I argue that one probe provides zero tactical or strategic value in a combat of this magnitude.

    1. Zero Contribution: The contribution of the weaker players did not affect the outcome, the losses, or the success of the mission.
    2. Intent to Circumvent: The only purpose of including these probes was to bypass the 500M weekly pulling limit. If this is allowed, the 500M limit effectively does not exist, as any Top 1 player can "pull" tens of billions to allies simply by having them click "Join Attack" with a single probe.
    3. Violation of "Fair Play": The rule specifically mentions that "Fair Play" applies. Allowing billions to be transferred for the cost of one probe violates the spirit of the game and the economic balance of the universe.

Request for Clarification: I am requesting a formal stance from the administration:

    • Does the staff consider a single probe to be "providing value" sufficient to justify bypassing the 500M pulling limit?
    • At what point does "profit sharing" become "disguised pulling"?
    • If this practice is tolerated, does it not render the 4.1 restriction obsolete for any player willing to use an ACS slot?

This is not a personal attack on these players, but a request for a level playing field. If "Fair Play" is still a core principle of OGame.us, then this systemic exploitation of the ACS profit-sharing clause must be addressed.

I look forward to your clear position on this matter.

    Best regards,

If you're unsure about anything, just raise a ticket. Pretty sure you've already done that

Why would you go out of your way to add your two weakest friends if not to get around the ā€œpullā€ rule?

    You think we're idiots.

    You disgust me, WTF.

    You're not impressing anyone here.

You should take all your money and go on a trip with no internet.

You can buy Game Forge too—we don't care about it anyway.

WTF—how much of the profits did you give to Kotek and Gullum for sending out attack probes?

It's always the same with you. Rules are for other people.

It's one thing for you to waste your money like an idiot, but trying to bend the rules all the time is just annoying.

WTF, you should stop playing this game and use your time and money to travel instead.

Personally, you disgust me both as a person and as a player.

    Enjoy it's just a game :)

And here’s the description of Bizzle’s alliance. No doubt new arguments and new lies will be made up in a moment. I’m not going to stoop to his level. I’m ending this discussion here. Just a heads-up: watch out for Bizzle - he’s a sly fox who dreams of getting into a henhouse full of weaker birds to do exactly what’s written in his alliance’s description.

You can say whatever you want.

    The facts are clear.

You criticize a player—in this case, Bizzle—and in the end, you sink to his level by engaging in pure bashing. It’s not worth it.

[CETUS], it's like a nice country —you mustn't criticize your ā€œsurgicalā€ strikes under any circumstances

    Well done Bizzle !

    Nice profit !

You're the only one who can fight the CETUS, because you're the only one with a fleet.

    Luckily for them, actually.

They've forgotten what it's like to be attacked.

You actually took a risk by waiting a month to post the report, because normally WTF handles it even if he has nothing to do with the fight. That’s his right.

So, you kind of stole his thunder.

    Old school player.

It's just spy n fly now.

If you lanx a player. He can buy 99999 DeathStars and you are destroyed.

GF is saving your fleet and you can't say thx :P

    What am I seeing?!

A defender posting less than 48 hours after the battle report?!!!

When I did that, I was warnning, and the thread was closed...

The defender posts the combat report before the attacker does

    Content: [TOT: 1.844.169.000] ZEr0 [CETUS] vs. TurnMeOn [Fr_Kiss] (A: 38.250.000, D: 1.805.919.000)

So can someone explain to me why the rules don't apply to everyone in the same way?

I'm not making this up. These are the facts.

I was warnning while others weren't.

What’s going on here? Why did WTF want to post it when he had nothing to do with the fight? Did he whine to the staff to get me penalized and then post it afterward?

What’s going on here? This is a joke. Impartiality is a word that doesn’t exist.

I asked for clarification, but nothing...

    It's too complicated to explain.

    It's disheartening.

Clarification Needed: Who Is Allowed to Post a Combat Report?

    what a shame...

It's just like our corrupt politicians...

The only thing we know about Zer0 is that he has no qualms about asking—or even ordering—his friends to break this forum’s rules… namely, that only the attacker can post the battle report.

I wish the defender all the best.

This also raises a philosophical question: is there any point in congratulating a player who isn’t even here—who doesn’t even have a registered account on the forum? What’s the point? It seems rather ridiculous.

I’m used to taking decisions and assuming the responsibility that comes with them. Managing discussions, people and sometimes conflicts is something I have done for a long time, and I consider myself a capable and experienced manager.

Some people may sometimes find me severe when it comes to the US staff. That might be true. But there is an important difference between being severe and being unfair. I always try to remain fair, objective and focused on what is best for the community.

A good example is the situation we experienced over the past months regarding the possible changes to our universe settings. For a long time, players were led to believe that such changes were possible. Votes were organized and many players participated in good faith.

    In the end, nothing happened.

It was only after I intervened publicly that the situation was finally clarified and that Shinesun issued public apologies. Without that intervention, we would probably still be waiting and asking when the changes would finally happen, and this discussion about the future configuration of our universes might not even exist yet.

This situation created a real sense of frustration among players. That frustration is something the staff should take into account moving forward.

However, the process was not entirely pointless. One very clear conclusion emerged from those votes and discussions: the vast majority of players expressed a strong preference for a x10 economy environment.

That is why I am proposing what I believe is the most reasonable and balanced solution for everyone: the creation of three x10 economy universes — one aggressive, one balanced and one peaceful — so that different playstyles can coexist while still respecting the preference clearly expressed by the community.

Based on the feedback from players and the discussions we have had over the past months, here is what I believe to be the most reasonable and balanced solution:

Alliance Combat System enabled Yes Yes Yes
    Dark Matter bonus 25000 25000 25000
Defensive structures in debris fields 0% 0% 0%
Destroyed ships in debris fields 80% 50% 30%
Deuterium in debris fields Yes Yes Yes
    Fleet Deuterium consumption reduction 80% 50% 30%
    Defensive fleet speed 4 2 1
    Peaceful fleet speed 4 5 6
    Belligerent fleet speed 4 2 1
Empty systems are ignored Yes Yes No
Inactive systems are ignored Yes Yes No
    Number of galaxies 6 5 4
    Planet field bonus 30 30 30
    Development speed 10 10 10
    Research speed 20 20 20

You’re welcome. Someone has to take care of the community.

I'll put aside the fact that once again the forum rules are not being followed according to [Staff] Zozo namely that only the attacker can post the battle report. In this case, it's not Noobas.

The entire CETUS alliance works for Zer0, who is incapable of creating an account on the forum. He wants glory without doing any work.

As I was saying, I'm going to leave that aside.

To introduce the defender imperio aleman.

At first glance, it's a Mexican called the German Empire during 1871 to 1918

In your opinion, what is the German Imperio?

    Authoritarian Parliamentary Monarchy

We'll check the names of his planets, maybe I'm talking nonsense...

So we have a Mexican whose origins we don't know, but we can assume that he is quietly promoting an authoritarian system.

I would like to point out that this is not the first time I have highlighted this. This time I have included screenshots.

    Welcome to Ogame.us.
