Snow .. my account was #7 overall and #5 military. I barely had 5 million total points. When you go from a universe where all stats are x1 (eco, research, and flight modes) to almost anything with a x8 or more bonus, you are going to start off way behind. The top account was Le Mulet, who hasn't logged in yet to the new server, having just over 10 million in total points.
well phoebe, now i know which server you went to after kerberos was sent to the black hole of dead uni's. we had no real good choice of destination as all of them were going to put us at a disadvantage. at least now you will have extra eco to help with the rebuild. good luck on the rebuild and should you choose to quit that account, the rest of us seem to be in gaspra. come see us!!

my first choice would have been zenith. having an account there already made that a non target so i chose gaspra. i didn't choose it for the eco, research, or peaceful fleet speeds. i chose it for the war of x2. i was very happy with my OLD SCHOOL kerberos stats of x1 across the board. you want to prove your true skills?? do it on a server where everything is a waiting and/or attacking game. single speed is not for the faint of heart as it takes what seems like forever to land an attack. the skipping of empty and inactive systems helped but still slow. to force us from over a couple of years building with x1 eco to a server with x8 puts all of us at a disadvantage due to the lack of rss harvested daily. it will take a while of dedicated play to catch up but we will be giving it our ole college try.

Hope all is well with y'all in Zenith. Pending on what happens with all these mergers, you may be seeing me again.
I'm not sure what to think of this. I already have an old account in zenith so that won't be a possible destination. I can't look up the stats for 187 (Isonoe), 192 (Narvi), 195 (Quadrantids) cause are all part of the mass universe page. For some stupid reason, GF thought combining all servers into one thread was a good idea. How are we supposed to make an informed decision on where we want to land when the dust settles if we don't know what the server stats are? As of now, it's looking like Gaspra is the best option .... or maybe just walk away all together. At the moment, I'm still undecided. I love our server as it is. We just need more players. How about stop making new servers and provide incentives for players starting out on older servers to ease the difficulty in catching up and being competitive.
maybe it's worth following the news on the forum more closely?
noted. i just thought that one of the few perks granted wouldn't be messed up and some advance planning could be done to work around it or it around the work.

no whining here. just pointing out facts and frustration. like always though, we the players learn to deal with it.
and who said the game isn't wonderful? the only issue i see are the rampant addition of new servers only to watch them die in a month when a new one opens. how about create a handful or two of servers with various settings and leave them at that. players can pick the settings that suits them best and go forth and do glorious things. if protection of smaller accounts is your concern, find a way to give them more protection from the monster in the room.
what happen to the 40% moon shot event april 5-6 on kerberos?? i was in the process of attacking a fellow ally members planet to wipe out some expo ships he didn't want and try for a moon while doing it. i had it set with the fleet sent to get 3 moon attempts out of the attacks and launched the first. mission failed and no moon. tried to launch wave two and now we are in attack ban!! why have an event such as this and then stop attacks?? i feel bad for pulling a noob trick and saving duet by not launching all 3 attacks at once. next time i guess i will just pony up the rss and hope for the best. thanks devs!

thanks viv. i can quickly amass deut and cry from inactives without have to wait for hours. several thousand probes and a few minutes later ... bam!! resources. works the same on active players too that don't drop at least some kind of defense.
I am working on probe attacks to several inactive players and figured I might need clarification on this rule. The rule says that there is no more the 6 attacks per 24 hour period on an "active player". Does that mean anyone can send as many as they want to an inactive without violation of this rule applying? Just curious.

Since no one else posts anything here, I feel no issue in posting this for the attacker just hours after the hit.
Alas this post isn't showing my exploits, but my folly. It has been a long week with kids sports, work, and my mother in the hospital. I have been doing the basic fleet saving, and not really hunting much other than attacking inactives. Well .... while waiting on fleet saves to return tonight, I fell asleep like most of us have done from time to time, only this time I got caught. This one stung a bit. I am pretty sure that I woke up and got back on quick enough to stop a second attack as the attacker had sent probes to create debris on two moons/planets. At any rate, I looked and seen a very large debris field still sitting in space so jumped into action. I sent rss down to the planet that I had the most recyclers on the moon, and speed created as many more as possible. Then sent them back to the moon, and jumped them over. I did get a good bit of the debris back which will help in the rebuilding process. I sent the attacker a message congratulating him on the hit, sent fleet out on saves, posted my failure, and soon going back to sleep.
I can only assume that the debris I did not get was picked up by the attacker. Once again Mulet, if you are reading these, congrats on a good hit! It should be the #1 solo for the server (if we had our own forum to have such things). I guess if anyone would get the chance, it would be the #1 ranked guy.

i may have to consider swapping side from discoverer to general once i have all the current planets allowed over 300. would be a nice way to get extra rss to level up. (on the bigger servers that is. some are just to small and there aren't any targets to make general class worth while.)

An ally mate and myself were talking last night about sending this player a message about joining the alliance since they were progressing pretty fast considering the slow nature of the universe. When I logged in this morning, the ally mate shared a combat report where this player had attacked him with several hundred probes. We were of the mind that the player was trying to get him in trouble for pushing. My ally mate left the debris on his planet and sent the GO's a ticket explaining the details of what happened. Considering this a personal attack on an ally mate, I took it upon myself to send a message that we do our best to stick together and don't take kindly to people attacking with potentially nefarious intentions.
This is the first of the phalanxed hits across five of his six planets. I will post the others in a minute without any comments other than the hit order. Defender didn't have much chance as attacks landed within two seconds of his expo fleet saves. A slight screw up in the combat simulator cost me 15 recyclers worth of debris so far. I've sent more out as soon as I saw the error, but I may or may not get it.
