How did i not respond to this before? This was a great hit!
Shame they restarted in a new uni
nice trio of hits!!
no FS to fleet
Don't forget MXC. If I remember correctly, that was the account Evelyn (aka evil-lyn) took over. I was Lone Ranger back then. Didn't make it very high but learned a ton. Most of it the hard way. I never did get into an alliances. I just ran solo trying to figure out the game. After all this time, it's still fun. I just wish the servers didn't die so fast.
For some reason I actually remember that name, so nice to run into you again!
Those were the good days when people played in the same uni for longer and they didnt dry up so fast.
nice find! sweet profit dude!!
I could be mistaken but here’s how I perceived it. The defender attempted a DM ninja and failed. That has been poked fun at for years across multiple universes. Nobody was making fun of him for purchasing DM. Just the fact he failed at a DM ninja. Just my opinion that’s how I read it. I don’t see someone making fun of getting DM when they use it. That would be dumb.
thats fair. It could have definitely been received that way by some. Its clear it wasnt received that well now though XD
who makes fun of somebody for building things with DM on a hit that is only possible by building ships with DM. That is the poor form that LC is talking about, and its not just the OP that made comments like that.
thanks elimination for paying the bills. someone has to fund the game lol.
Paid to lose! I like hearing this challenge.
...all his fleets which previously built by DM.
How witty you are.
Yes, fund found for the next payment.
I believe these are the comments in question...it wasnt too hard to see why somebody would be bothered by comments like this that are clearly meant to put down somebody who spent money on the game.
It would be one thing if elim was ruining the game for the players of the uni and WCH came in and saved the uni from elim's brutal reign but that is not the case here. A little civility goes a long way, especially when you are in a position of authority.
This whole situation is silly. Have a little respect for the last few players who are populating the universes instead of alienating them with a poor winners attitude. Its not against the rules to gloat, but you cant expect people to react well to it.
Good hit, great perseverance and sick profits WCH.
what was your player name in uni6.org I don't remember you. I played in uni 6 from 2 weeks after the start and then opened an account in uni1.org 3 months later. I was #2 overall and #1 in fleet in uni6.org and top 20 in uni1 this is me in uni 6
I played as Sychronix back then. I started in Guardians and eventually left and joined O.A.
I started late so I wasnt as high ranked as you were. I was active when Graf Zahl was playing and eventually when the account switched to Evelyn.
I value my stress free morning potty time.
FACTS
seriously though, I agree. I generally avoid anything higher than 2x war speed since eventually late game techs and lifeform techs make fleets very fast despite only being 2x
Display MoreThanks for sorting out all the answers!
Here are all the settings of the target unis for comparison, copied from the board info:
Group 1
Himalia - 4x Fleet, 10x Economy, 20x Research, 5 Galaxies, 60% DF, 70% Deut, ACS On, Probe Storage Off, +30 Fields, +25k DM
Volans - 1x War Fleet, 1x Peaceful Fleet, 1x Holding Fleet, 8x Economy, 16x Research, 4 Galaxies, 60% DF, 50% Deut, ACS On, Probe Storage Off, +30 Fields, +8k DM
Zenith - 2x War Fleet, 3x Peaceful Fleet, 2x Holding Fleet, 3x Economy, 6x Research, 5 Galaxies, 50% DF, 100% Deut, ACS On, Probe Storage Off, +25 Fields, +25k DM
1x high eco & high fleet speed uni, 1x high eco & low fleet speed uni & 1x low eco & low fleet speed uni (oldschool Ogame) - balanced choices, I like it.
Group 2
Gaspra: Economy x8, Fleet Peaceful x6, Fleet Holding x6, War Fleet x1, Research x16, Galaxies 6, DF 80%, 0.6 Deuterium consumption, ACS On, +30 fields, Probes with cargo ON, Deuterium in Debris Fields ON, Flight time/consumption ignore empty and inactive systems ON, 25.000 DM
Isonoe: Economy x8, Fleet Peaceful x8, Fleet Holding x8, War Fleet x4, Research x16, Galaxies 4, DF 40%, DiDF 50%, 70% Deuterium Consumption, Probes with cargo ON, ACS On, +30 fields, Deuterium in Debris Fields ON, Flight time/consumption ignore empty and inactive systems ON, 25.000 DM
1x high eco & low war fleet speed uni & 1x high eco & high fleet speed uni
I think it would be better for the longevity of the Isonoe target uni to drop the 50% DiDF and buff the normal DF values to 60% instead. DiDF unis usually die out pretty quickly and aren't really suited for a large player audience. Just an idea, target unis should be appealing to a wide array of players in order to offer a real choice.
Correct Zenith settings:
Alliance Combat System enabled
Dark Matter bonus: 25000
Defensive structures in debris fields: +0%
Destroyed ships in debris fields: +70%
Fleet Deuterium consumption reduction: 30%
Defensive fleet speed: x2
Peaceful fleet speed: x5
War fleet speed: x2
Number of galaxies: 5
Planet field bonus: 25
Development speed: x8
Research speed: x16
Display MoreOK! It is a new year any word from GF if they are considering a merge? January 2023 is the last one to happen. I remade the groups to make group one every uni older than a year and changed the x2 speed to zenith over yildun since more players favored zenith( dont know why but it is what it is lol) and group 2 any uni 6 months to a year. Again just my opinion.
Group 1
Yildun
Himalia (target)
Volans (target)
Umbra
Zenith (target)
Atlas
Belinda
Cetus
Group 2
Dione
Earth
Ferdinand
Gaspra(target)
Halley

I like this grouping as well

its good to see this in color, lol!
great hit, great profit, glotr morphiuse
First off, GLOTR to Leto/Skywalker for the incredibly sportsmanlike response after the hit.
This campaign started months ago when the universe's targets were starting to dry up. I hadn't seen his fleet at all, but after getting desperate for targets I compared his military score to his visible defense and noticed there was quite a large difference in points. With my resolve firmly in place, I began watching him and waiting for the right amount of activity to spot his fleet so i could start sim-ing. After a little bit of effort I was able to secure a spy report of his full fleet. (I asked emnox to probe for me so Skywalker didn't get a tip-off that I was hunting.) With a little bit of tracking I was sure that I was hot on his tail and fired off a few MD's which turned up nothing, and cost me a few hundred RIPs. A few others from FEW also tried watching and sending MD's to no avail. This was certainly a slippery target who was good at masking his activity and where his fleet was FSed from. Unfortunately with the holidays my free time was greatly reduced and I wasnt able to hunt nearly as much so Leto/Skywalker was able to enjoy some peace for a bit. This peace was short-lived though as I took the free time I had during the Christmas-New Years break time to watch him a bit more. 2 days before New years I fired off some more RIPs to pop a couple moons and behold.
There it was.
On a long harvesting mission.
In-system and waiting to be picked.
So I stayed up for a few hours to make sure it wasn't going to get recalled and return before I woke. Once i was satisfied that the recall time would still allow me plenty of time to catch the fleet I rested my head and prepared for an eventful day of lining up attacks. The next morning I lined up my pilot fleet with a solitary deathstar, added the rest of my fleet and recs, and called in some "insurance" from my FEW brothers. Emnox sent a couple RIPs to hit 3 seconds before the hit to dissuade any DM inspired fleet-building as well as back-up recs incase of server lag. Mylops was a bit too far away to join the insurance attack in time, but deserves an honorable mention. A big thanks to Emnox for joining me, as well as to Mylops, Venom, Poverty, and the rest of the FEW crew who put up with my extended hunt and even lost a few RIPs of their own in the attempts to take this fleet down.
Enough of the story time.
Please enjoy this very big boom on New Years Eve!
New Number 1!!!
