I actualy saw that attack 20 min earlier and set up clock to run away with my fleet for the wrong hour xD

Gj man I will be back soon :)

Man, I am really happy I did not 'chased' you indefinitely into the blue. And don't worry, you get all the time to rebuild, and nobody (at least from our alliance) will try to pester you out of the game.

And yes, we all make mistakes now and then, and those are usually when 'hits' happen. It's a combination of awareness, be persistence and just also have a bit of luck.
Go go Paperfrog - You can easily do it, because it took me like a dozen times to get your fleet. I remember sawing activity on one of your other planets, but your moon stayed on the time counter, which at the time I found weird, but my thought at that moment was, as long the counter on the moon stays, there is no fleet movement, hence I went on. Lucky for me and a bit less lucky for you. But we are honorable players, so good luck with the rebuild :beer:8)

It took me 10 attempts or so to get him, because he always came online in the last minute. So I started preparing myself, put deuterium on the ready, upgrading as much the Lifeform bonus for the cruiser (since this is the fastest ship), and after a few attempts I finally spotted a 16 min timer on his moon. I scrambled my fleet and launched directly. Giving credit to the defender for always being ready but the only thing I never understood is why you kept your fleet only 1 system away from my planet while you had other moons further away. Fast rebuild PaperFrog

In general I find it 'dishonorable' as soon you get out of v-mode to suddenly attack someone. That's just my opinion. You did it, Sab it. The difference is: You did it multiple times, Sab did it only once. When at first I suggested a (slight) alteration in attack options after exiting v-mode YOU did not wanted to hear about it. Now, when Sab does the same to you, you are all sudden crying over the floor.

It amazes me that Gameforge was so desperate in need for Game Operators back then that they let you be one for a while.

And as a former Game Operator you should act more professional and realistic. The suggestion has been made, it's up to Gameforge what and if they want to do something with it. Most likely nothing.
You can pin prick all you want all day, I say my opinion, also to my alliance members.

    End of discussion here Bizzle

Bizzle : First of all ; my quotes are no official game rules, they are 'suggestions' (which you did not care about until you got hit now).

Guys, to be frankly honest, both of you are wrong. It may not be against game rules, but it's far from honorable. This whole "coming out of v-mode and quickly hit somebody" is something you started first with Bizzle and you applied at several times to several members of our alliance. Then CasualSAB, who does the same, but so far only once, and you now are screaming about injustice. (You see a little bit the irony in this?). In essence you are now 'with me' how dishonorable this action actually is. There is also an inherent issue with you Bizzle that even if people would fleetsave you go after crawlers, sats etc and maybe half of a daily production. That's a way of playing, for so far I know it is barely done within our alliance. Even when fleetsaving CasualSAB knows you do this to just create as much damage and be proud here on the board and ingame you are the most obnoxious person I have ever met, that's also the reason why many of us have blocked you ingame. Does not take away that fact both you guys should not even do this. Hence the proposal made of a 12 or 24h attack ban for anyone coming OUT of v-mode. So there is my answer Bizzle ,I don't condone the action made by CasualSAB (and yours before) by attacking straight out of v-mode but this is the result of your own actions before, and now it happens to you it is suddenly an issue; Well, that's good. You have been a GO, you have friends among some SGO's, why not put the idea forward so this v-mode cannot be misused anymore for this purpose?

That forces people who want to destroy your fleet not to sit safely in v-mode and then hit out of nowhere.

My max is 249 or 252 I think. I launched 20 colony missions in himalia and kept cancelling bc of 220s.

Same here, I run into colonies ranging from 220 to 244 (max) but those are simply not large enough. Although in theory 250 would be just enough if you use all the Terraformers (even temporary move the planet to spot 1, build gobs of solar sats and bring the terraformer to level 15 or higher) and use those planet field items you can get with rewards or just buy them. They total out at 48 extra fields). That would make a planet with 250 fields + 15*4 = 60 + 48 = a total of 358 fields. So far Allan's biggest usage of fields is somewhere around 330 fields. It would do, but having a 300+ fields planet is just easier, less worrying :whistling::saint:

[Staff] Zozo, "Collector" class, not Discoverer. :biggrin2:

With rewards we do get sometimes General, Discoverer and Collector class items. I used to have a stockpile of these, and I have one Discoverer left (ideal for getting a 300+ fields planet), but no Collector anymore.

The simple question is, what is the maximum planet size you can get as a collector on spot 8?

    @Cuzzer:
Kado is bunched up in G4 and has no real fleet to speak up. He is a 100% miner, but a sensible one. I have not seen him striking elsewhere.

i might would look for a new farm. i dont know how far you flew but battleships and heavies are not cheap to fly. MSU isnt great but a hits a hit! merry christmas to you

It was in the same system, but I hate to admit it, you are right he has his account quite well in order, there is little to gain, and I am not going to fly for a few tens of millions of profit.
So, in this case, Kado does not need to worry anymore, I already left his area. Trial and error.

Most of his planets are all the same, a typical miner. Huge mines though, little fleet, relative lots of defenses, sufficient against most players, but for me - A possible interesting farm.

Actually on my end the problem disappeared, but other members within our alliance HDR still have the issue.

I’ve seen this once before. I don’t know if this is the cause of your problem or not. The alliance member who shared the report to the alliance and then deleted the espionage report from their inbox. Cause the shared reports to drop but everyone still got a notification. Maybe have the player who shared the report pull it from deleted items if this is the case.

Well, I did probed someone at someone else's request, shared that within the alliance, and deleted the spy report. So it could be true what you are saying. But since others still experience this problem it's then still an existing bug. Let's keep the suggestion if "When sharing a spy report don't delete the report" as being the best temporary fix to avoid this problem.

Well, that's very crafty of you to do that. And I don't say it's impossible. It's solely the 'idea', and if you have witnessed this before, how often have you been attacked by these players before you learned some of their routines? And during all those quick run and attacks did that not just piss you off at all? Knowing you I bet it did. And you probably had the same thoughts on your mind, like "This is not the function of vacation mode". Even though you eventually got these guys, those sneaky attacks somebody plopping out of v-mode, do a quick run and attack and voila back in v-mode. And you are like; "darn a$$holes, get out and fight".

thats all you can do. you cant make hits or play the game so you come here and troll those who do lol.

i have had my fair share of v mode warriors. i have taken them out myself. i dont come to the boards and cry. i also dont leave billions in resources and hundreds of millions of fleet sitting everywhere haha. noobs

This is a board of suggestions, I just named something that I view as something that is being misused and could need some alteration. If you go on vacation, then go on vacation and activate v-mode for that. If you hop from hotel to hotel, you can also just fleetsave. Whatever GF does with it, it's up to them, and if this does not change, then so be it and then it's considered acceptable I guess. At least you were open and honest about what you were doing (and even going on trips) and even about your past experiences and even possible countermeasures you even took. I just feel that the game should be enjoyable for everybody. I rest my case.

Dude, read your own message, and then step for one single moment in the opposite shoes. What if there was somebody doing this to you? I think you would be furious, right?

You think by posting these 'hits' here on this board people will respect you for getting these results? If you play OGame already that long, then consider the other players as well. My reaction is not because of Allan; Allan can manage himself and he is a "Force in progress". It's just the principle that even you should not be proud off. If you are a veteran OGame player, you know that using this method is not honorable.

    I am just saying.

its easy to intercept. i have caught multiple vmode warriors. you just have to be patient. but to complain about it bc you are being hit for sloppy play is hilarious. im playing vmode style right now bc im pretty much living in hotels and dont have time. i probe a lot when i come out. if no fleet or resources are sitting i dont hit. its pretty simple to avoid. people are just lazy and want to cry instead of put forth effort and avoid the raids. also it costs me over 1-2 billion deut to fleet save in himalia daily. it doesnt make sense for me to do that every night.

How nice of you to ACKNOWLEDGE you misuse a game feature that was not meant for the thing you describe. Staying mainly in hotels is your own business but does not give you the right to just hop out v-mode, attack a player, and then hop back. That is misusing the game feature. If you are away from home sitting in hotels, then stay in v-mode until you are back.

You are actively MISusing the Vacation-mode option in the game to attack, these attacks have no shred of honor.

It's a pity Bizzle, why do you need to do it? Fleetsaving is not that hard, and these days we all have phones and most of the time an internet connection available.
I remember the days that I had to RUSH home because I was late and my fleet was about to land and lay idling on a moon for more than an hour....luckily those days are gone with mobile internet.

If you come back, play fair, then you will know that in Volans practically all players are honorable ones, they won't attack needlessly, but only if there is fair game.
