Possible Universe Settings

  • These are all of the universe settings that can be requested for new universes or changed in old universes (minimum 6 months old and have last had setting polls done more than 6 months ago).


    Standard requests:

    • Fleet speed: x1, x2, x3, x4, x5, x6
    • Economy speed: x1, x2, x3, x4, x5, x6, x7, x8 *Economy speed must be greater than or equal to fleet speed (never lower).
    • Galaxies: 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 (9 is the default setting).
    • Debris Field: 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80% (the standard value is 30%).
    • DiDF (Defense-into-Debris-Field): 0, 30% 40% 50% 60%, 70% 80% (the standard is 0)
    • Deuterium Consumption: 0.5, 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 0.9, 1 (the default value is 1).
    • Planet Fields: +10,+25 or +30 fields can be requested (standard value is 0). *Not every new universe can be +30.
    • Research speed: x2, x4, x6, x8, x10, x12, x14, x16 (the default setting is equal to economy speed). *Must be a multiple of the economy speed.
    • Espionage probe storage (capacity 5): ON/OFF (OFF is the default setting).
    • ACS (Alliance Combat System): ON/OFF (ON is the default setting).
    • Galaxies: Linear or Circular (the default setting is circular). *Does not have to match the setting (linear/circular) for systems.
    • Systems: Linear or Circular (the default setting is circular). *Does not have to match the setting (linear/circular) for galaxies.

    Fleet speed split is now part of the allowed settings for the old universes changes requests.


    Keep in mind what the allowed values are and what each fleet speed affects:

    • War fleet speed: x1, x2, x3, x4, x5, x6.
      • Attack missions
      • ACS attack missions
      • Espionage missions
      • Harvesting missions
      • Moon destruction missions
      • Missile flight speeds (IPM fleet speeds - ABMs do not have a speed component)
      • Also affects the jump gate cool down (The faster the war speed, the faster the cooldown)
    • Holding fleet speed: x1, x2, x3, x4, x5, x6, x7, x8.
      • ACS hold missions
    • Peaceful fleet speed: x1, x2, x3, x4, x5, x6, x7, x8.
      • Transport missions
      • Deployment missions
      • Colonization missions
      • Expedition missions (Only affects the flight time - the peaceful fleet speed does not affect the hold time)
