By how? Being a good player?
Yes.

Yes.
Well at least he is being honest lol.... @zoze, your reasonig is sound and i second the banning of gunslinger for being a good player

Lol he really is dominating the uni
GG Gunslinger
I feel like the formation of T2D at the beginning of the uni was very unfair. They stacked all the proven players on the same team.
We got lucky though, Nitrous made a few of them rage quit over an argument, and the rest had real life issues and had to quit. The only one left is gunslinger, and pretty much the entire uni is trying to crash him. He is still going solo vs all.
But yeah, it's still not fair. Just ban him please.
Absurd. Gunslinger is doing the dark lord's work by destroying everyone who thinks they are good along with those who think money will save them.
Keep up the excellent work Gunslinger. Show them hell.

Man so much hostility towards gunz !! Just keep flying man haters gonna hate
RIP - T2D
As one of the original players who left the T2D and the uni for real life crap I can honestly say the forming of the ally was all preplanned as we all knew each other before the uni started. We liked the speeds and all thought it would be fun to play in one uni together. With that comes a high level of hostile events toward everyone else... after all we were a fleeter ally. Ive been part of these groups in every uni ive played and all I can say is its part of the game. Gun and I played in several unis together. Ive played with most of the others in other unis as well. We are just friends regardless of skill level.
I left before all the drama so I have no comment. I wish Gun and whomever is left victory in the uni. I can only suggest to everyone else to take the fight to Gun in game and not on the board. It wont be easy to get him but its possible as it is with any player. Threats and smack talk on here do nothing to him, real life threats also do nothing to him. All it does is show how weak his enemies are.
Players who were in T2D keep the uni honest. If you have to fleet save, collect resources, ect.... you have to play the game to survive with us around. In my opinion that makes the uni fun.
It all works itself out in the end. ![]()
Complaining about domination is poor form.
It should be, after all, the goal of every player. There can only be one #1 but anyone can be dominant. ![]()
For anyone that's newer and looking for help figuring my out how to grow and dominate in their uni..I am always available to talk. Provided you are willing to learn and give Ogame the attention it requires then it will be fun for you. ![]()
Open offer for all. I don't play too much these days but I've played with or against just about all players here at some point if they've been around a while. Feel free to PM me if you need any help. I may still know a trick or two. ![]()
Keep smashing everyone! Very interesting specs to watch in this uni.
I'm not the most skilled player in here but I understand the principals of the one thing that gets you crashed.... PROFIT. I mean things like war or general dislike will get you. Crashed as well but generally your only crashed for profit. Defence to debris makes this uni much harder to stay unprofitablebut not impossible. I've always hated these unis as I always shut my mines off at night and go defenceless. Of course that means no solar sats ever. I'd take up there previous poster on his offer for advise. Your in a tough uni with good players. You could use all the help you can get.
No one besides GunSlinger has gained a single resource of profit from me since day 1.
The problem isn't that I'm in a universe with a bunch of good players.
The problem is that I'm trapped in a universe with GunSlinger.
(Turning off your mines and not building sats is pretty bad. I stay unprofitable by constantly baiting people to attack and setting up ninjas. They get scared to attack. Of if they hit my sats, then I hit them back harder and get all the resources back. They don't try attacking again. None of it works on guns though. He doesn't fall for any of my ninja tricks, and I can't hit him back. Pretty much everyone in this entire uni is trying to hit GunSlinger back.. no one has been able to do it yet.)

Yes, well the key to gunslinger then will not be hitting him back but in not caring if he hits you. Invest and set yourself up for that condition. Staying "unprofitable" sounds easy enough but you have to understand what that means from Gunslinger's perspective. Provided you haven't done anything to make it personal, he'll take his easiest and most profitable options like all fleeters.
One word about Defense to Debris: this is a challenging setup for newer players and/or players that don't have a solid fleeting background. An excellent example universe was Draco here on .us. Before that universe was merged quite a while ago now, it was the most dead of all dead unis on the server. In the later half of the uni's life no players had any defense whatsoever. A big defense was nothing more than a big fleet just sitting there. You can't have any solar sats beyond what fleeters around you would consider "meaningless crystal." In the very beginning, maybe that means none. Essentially you have to play unprotected. This made Draco very hard for many types of players and very probably contributed to its demise. Hopefully enough, other, settings are different here to change the outcome. But in any case you cannot rely on defense in this type of uni. You can NOT.
So for the overnight stuff anyway it then comes down to vigilance. At all times i suggest you have enough cargoes on every planet to transport a days worth of production (and very few extra). Every night close to shut down, send all Res to a centralized meeting location set to land sometime the next morning. You can leave some random metal, crystal, deut lying there (like 1000 metal) to throw off any calculations based on production. Using this vigilant technique, the very most gunslinger can hit you for is your overnight production and nothing else. Even if that is enough of a reason for him to attack now, it won't be for long. Soon (probably already) that will simply not be enough Res to warrant the attacker's fleet slot as compared to other potential targets. But wait! How long do I have to do this for?! Maybe forever. Depends on the farmers. That's why defense to debris is, in some ways, the most difficult setting for miners/turtles. This time it's offset by Econ so it's less predictable what the end game will look like. I tend to think just bigger fleets with no turtles.
Lol, gunslinger is a good player and that means he doesn't do things for no reason. Game Logic will prevail on his end unless someone is involved in a personal battle. That means he has a minimum threshold. A bare minimum profit he's willing to use a fleet slot for. Find it and stay below it. I believe I've played against gunslinger a few times and I don't recall him being any different than any other top fleeter. I mean that as a compliment to him and encouragement to others.
Again, always happy to PM regarding any specific situations if help is needed.

You could always rage quit.
Gunslinger isn't better than any other good fleeter? Really? You need to read archives.
He was in a 13 month old universe, and got merged with a 20 month old uni, and a 2 year old uni.
He lead an alliance that only allowed players from the 13 month old universe in.
They had a huge point disadvantage.
Yet they crashed every single player and dominated the uni after the merge.
He dominated all 3 universes despite being over a year behind in production.
He has crashed pretty much every player in this uni already. No one else is making crashes like that. The only players ahead of him in points are the ones who have spent over $200 in DM. Gunslinger hasn't bought any. Plus he has no alliance, and there are many alliances working together trying to stop him.
Dood is crazy good O.O
Zoze while I completely agree with you on guns performance during those times and now. What your missing is the team he had, including me. We did all that stuff together. You have stated you have issue with alliances like ours. Wolf, Main, T2D are all the same. We all played well together for the most part. I take no credit for what we did, I simply suggest it took all of us to have that success. Gun has been and will always be my mentor. We are friends in real life even though we have never met face to face. Funny how over the years he and I have seen so many players like you come and go. If you would stop and just try to form your own friendships and partnerships with other players then you to could compete on a high level against him.
I said he was no different than any other "top" player. And yes, you should be encouraged. What YOU can do against gunslinger shouldn't be relevant. It has nothing to do with your own ability to dominate. If you don't see that yet you just have more to learn, that's all.
Think of Ogame a bit like golf, young padiwan. Only your score should matter to you. If you are playing "correctly" as I would consider it, the actions of others in this game should truly be of little concern. That's the whole secret to Ogame. You need to keep learning and getting better until this is true for you.
This needs to be true:
Player 1: if you do that won't gunslinger attack you?
Player 2: yes. So?
Keeping learning until you can say that in response to player 1. ![]()
Jeez, gunslinger, what did you do to this uni? What uni's have we played together in? Feels like several across .us and .org to me...I don't recall you being so murderous...
I didnt fs and guns and dess crashed me...
Now i fs and stay out of lanx and my fleet is safe for now.
It isnt problem in guns for using opportunities, good players fly for profits, noobs for destruction.
As for the economy speed, i dont like to wait 200 days for research, or 70 days for the mine to build, like i had to on ogame.ba, and then the merge came, so i quit after 4 years of hard work, fell out of top 300, just didnt like that
I had 20 M points on uni 16, and those from uni 1 had 1 B
I'll explain what is happening in Eridanus.
There was quite a bit on DM being purchased in this uni, a lot more than normal for USA servers. Gunslinger got mad about it and declared war on anyone who has bought DM. He sent me and a bunch of other players a warning that he was going to smash us for DM abusing.
I thought it was pretty funny. I laughed at him and called him a noob. After all, what is he gonna do? Declare war against all the top players by himself? If he tried, we would just start bashing all his planets every time he goes to sleep, right? He was being an idiot.
It became obvious that he was serious pretty quickly. He crashed a few people from each of the top alliances, and started bashing sats and stealing overnight resources. We talked to other alliances and all decided this crap had to stop. We all brought our fleets near gunslinger. If he makes a mistake, we are all ready to crash him. Every time he falls asleep, we were each going to raid a different colony. That should shut him up pretty fast.
As everyone was sending their fleets near gunslinger, two people slipped up and gunslinger crashed them. Now we're super pissed. We formed the alliance CHAOS with the sole purpose of bashing gunslinger. We also coordinate with other alliances to make it happen. There were about 20 fleeters committed to taking out gunslinger. We have a 20 vs 1 situation.
It seems like every time 1 of the 20 of us goes to sleep, gunslinger will bash the sats and steal overnight resources. We've tried to set up ninjas, but so far they haven't worked. He always recalls.
It's hard to tell if gunslinger is online or not. We don't see activity for a few hours and decide that he is probably offline. We all attack different colonies to bash the sats. A little before our fleets hit, activity starts lighting up everywhere. We decide to recall. THEN gunslinger times one of our fleets back. We try to ninja him, but he recalls.
The next day, a few of the players who attacked him will wake up to find that gunslinger stole their overnight resources on a few of their planets and bashed their sats.
We are trying to set up more attacks, but we have to be careful because he times our fleets back. He knows if we are able to ninja it or not too.
Of course, we could all just ignore him and let him farm a few of us everyday. But we shouldn't have to get pushed around like that. Gunslinger does not have the biggest fleet. We out-man and out-gun him. He shouldn't be able to get away with sat bashing and destroying cargoes whenever he feels like it. We should be able to hit him back for it.
He is crazy good though. So far we haven't been able to do it.
Since Gunslinger crashed me I'll probably sit on the sidelines and hope he doesn't steal my overnight resources. We may have to give up and just let him raid whoever he wants freely. Not to mention he is constantly waiting for people to mess up. It seems like every time someone makes a mistake, he is there capitalizing on it. When no one is making a mistake with their fleet, then he will go bash Fugul on 4 colonies or bash another person who bought DM. It's a 20 vs 1 and he is pushing us all around like a big bully. (Well, it's down to like 7 vs 1 now lol).
It's a fun uni and impressive watching him, but... good god man.
I do think we will get him eventually. Nitrous is a very good player and has a much bigger fleet than GunSlinger. Most of us are rebuilding too.
Have fun with that. He is doing exactly what we have always done. 20 verse 1 and your surprised he is targeting you all? He isnt a bully if its all those players against him, that makes you the bully. Its a space war game. The fact there is surprise that someone attacks you is misguided... its the point of the game.
Yeah, lol, there was an awful lot of new information there that had not been previously communicated. ![]()
But to quote cylon wisdom, everything you mentioned has happened before and all of it will happen again. ![]()
None of what you said was unusual except for the part about your private war against him. Tehehehe. I think you just have a ton more to learn. That's not an insult. Anyone that doesn't think Ogame doesn't have a lot of complicated nuance doesn't *really* know how to play yet. Keep playing and talking with others and you'll get there. Fleeting friends forming an alliance together at the top is as old as the oldest Ogame universe and dark matter haters are as old as dark matter. Keep going!
So track him back. If you have twenty players with fleets sitting, you should be able to send at him in waves to account for off speed attacks. I've said before and I'll say again, I'm not a skilled fleeter but it took me three seconds to figure that out. And it doesn't matter if you bring his economy to its knees if you continually move food to his door step. 2x fleet speed should give you plenty of time to catch mistakes and see incoming fleets. Your probably not going to out play gun so your going to have to out plan him. He's not going to fall for a obvious ninja. I guarantee he's looking at all of your planets for activity just before he lands. Try other methods. Maybe a recalled deploy? Gun isn't super human he's just very good. He caused chaos from the moment he entered Deimos. He flys the light fighters of destruction 0.0 I can tell you this much, several good players here offered you advise and you'd be stupid if you didn't pick their minds a bit.
