    Your suggestion about Gaspra would be a good one for 'peaceful' players from all universes, but in order to also keep Himalia alive I was only suggesting a few options to get at least a few people there. If that does not happen and Himalia is just one of the target universes, how many players you think will go there and how many will leave Himalia? Himalia would be totally dead after players moved around. Imagine the big boy there "WTF" is not even allowed to move, it would basically leave him nearly alone in an empty Himalia, since most players here view Himalia as a death trap.

    To be honest, what would motivate any player to GO or STAY in Himalia in its current form?




    nothing that you suggested would motivate players to come to Himalia that weren’t already planning to haha. Players aren’t gonna be like “I’m Not dealing with 100 million battle cruisers in 4x but if it changed to 2x I would”. Earlier in this thread you can see where the original proposal was to make ozone the new 10x uni and get rid of himalia. Nobody from any speed wants to deal with the himalia top players.


    If Ozone was target instead of himalia, the amount of vmode accounts that would start playing again would be crazy though. But the requested settings are based off input of the community not just me. So I kept it Himalia.


    You also have to understand that merges don’t mean you can just change settings in a target uni. We been trying for almost a year now to get probe storage turned on you think changing speed is an option? Definitely not.

    I’m pretty sure…but not 100% bc I don’t have any inside information. The plans for merger have been discussed and made. I think all the communities are just on a standby until they are announced.

    Since your fleet in Himalia was crashed maybe you could reapply to become a team member again? You do have now somewhat more time for it and as far I know Gameforge is still wanting people.
    (Although have been a Game Operator myself in the past the rewards for doing this are minimal, it's a wonder people are willing to do this at all).

    if GF wants money take whatever the community wants for target universes. Then change the noob protection to include only fleet points, not military points, and for sure not over all points. How much money you put into your fleet would not effect everyone in the game. People will build their eco and LF before they build a huge fleet. Then they would stay and rebuild and play when they get crashed. Every other attempt to offset the DM destruction in the game is puttinga bandaid on a bullet hole. There is nothing wrong with DM it is just another tool in the game. There is nothing wrong with buying an chain saw until you break into your neighbors house and saw his furniture in half. Jmo you are entitled to yours.

    you are probably right, we should probably not talk about war fleet speed, peace fleet speed, probe storage, eco rate, df % or duet! It is an attribute of the game. Same as anything else, but we should just say where we want to have target and exodus universes instead of trying to get a dig in about someone getting crashes in Himalia and running our mouths about he should have time to be back in GF staff. I can see where you would have a problem if some one pointed out that the ability to attack someone should be relative to the % ratio of the two players fleet size not overall points. Like noob protection under 10% of the attackers fleet points. That would make it irrelevant where WTF is allowed to merge his account. I understand now np let's just say target or exodus and leave the rest for another day. Gotcha bud!

    As far as the writing on the wall, .us won't be around much longer. Its financially moronic for them to keep it around. Sooner rather than later, we will merge with .org and if you think there's an unfair advantage now, wait till you see those whales. It just depends when GF wants to pull that band aid off and give .us the killshot. The question isn't if, but when.

    It is not possible to eat a cake and have it at the same time. Universe can't be exodus and target. The merger is not about free migration. That is what the cemetery was and should be for. Let them restore its functionality.


    On the other hand if someone takes good care of acc shouldn't have any problems. This game was created as a strategic war game and let it stay that way. Fleeting is one of the ways to earn to develop your acc the same as expeditions or mines...


    And at the end what about the merger in the US? Any news?

    I think Zenith for sure should be a target, if Himalia is locked into a target or just on it's own i vote leave it on it's own. Then make both Gaspra and Ozone target universes. So you have slow medium and fast speed universes to choose from. Some of Volans player have big fleets also and they have not had a choice to move their accounts to a faster uni which can be advantage to a fleeter. If I remember correctly even in the ymir exodus we only had the option of umbra and Volans. Some of Volans may want a choice this time.

    Ozone(x10) Exodus only has x8 eco as a target?

    And why so many targets if the Exodus universes produce so few active players?! We should upgrade Narvi as a target to x10, if Ozone is abandoned!

    thats not the merge wich will help to keep the universes alive...
