    D. The auction - is part of the gameplay that only developers have access to. No one knows when the timer will end, since it, like expeditions, has a random value. As much as possible, you can find out the end time of the auction in the range of +-30 seconds, if you have the ability to use your favorite available timer, have time to note the time of changing the auction timer and time to place bids at the right moment.

    Everything else is your conjecture and guesswork, which has nothing to do with the real world.

    If Inpro is a GO in other servers just not here... then I assume the fleet movement review mechanic for GOs doesnt allow them to do that anywhere they arent an active GO? I didn't see an answer for question B about how GF polices GOs.

    All team actions are controlled by the game administrator.

    Not being a member of the US team, Inprotest does not have access to US servers and cannot control fleet movements, etc.


    His game is all about skill and perseverance.

    Therefore, 5+ for the battle.

    You can all defend this BS, as much as you want. The fact remains that there was something sketchy going on in this server and support did nothing about it. Forget proof - i know for a fact that you had multiple players complaining to support about Inprotest almost daily. Mainly for the auction house but for some other reasons, as well. Inprotest basically single-handedly killed an entire server through shady practices, at the very least; Gameforge seems to be okay with it, though. Because "in the end, Gameforge wins."


    What was with this comment, by the way? I noticed it was deleted, soon after. (Did you get yelled at by your superiors? lol) Were you trying to rub it in? Trying to make a point? The only effect this comment had on me, and probably a few others, is that I'll never spend another dime on this game. Probably will never end up playing it again, either. This whole Inprotest debacle left me salty as fuck - I can absolutely admit that.


    Real classy behavior from a "Game Operator," regardless of if he's a GO in USA or not. This is absolutely what I've come to associate with GO's at Gameforge. Y'all suck and I wish you the worst.

    I never claimed to be good at the game. TBH, this is the first time I picked it up in a decade or so. But, even if it's not considered cheating by admins, there is some unfair play going on. I'm assuming you weren't in the server so you don't understand what was happening.


    My suggestion: find WCH IRL so you can suck him off in person.

    If he has been reported several times ingame and nothing happens, the go/ga has also come to the conclusion that he has not cheated. Of course, the go/ga will not reply to your ticket with the result of his investigation.

    I don't believe he uses any kind of bot or cheats to show his activity I firmly believe he is a 20 year old kid living in his moms house that has not once worked at a job in his life, it would firmly explain why he takes maybe 2-3 hour naps and on every part of the day.

    Back to your comments - "Refuted" is a strong word. Support couldn't prove he was cheating so they gave up. The most common response we got from support was "we check" and then nothing. Or, more maliciously, they know what he's doing but they are ok with it because it gets people like me and Elimination to spend money on a dying game.

    Still haven't gotten a response on this comment. The whole point of my post wasn't about even about cheating, specifically. It was a chance to figure out if Gameforge condones this behavior, or not. It's clear to me now that they condone it - or at least allow it.

    And yes! The tantrums that Inprotest throws after losing an auction are hilarious. He wins 95% of them, because he's botting. But, god forbid anyone else dare to bid on something. You guys defending Inprotest either haven't seen his true colors or you're in league.

    I'd like to point out that my previous statement on you and Crido included that I have no concrete proof of any wrongdoing, and that your accounts are solid. Thats just a suspition I have.... and I haven't submitted anything about either of you two. Don't really even care if its the case either, because there is no pattern of bot-based or inconceiveably lucky moves with you two. Infact, since day one our alliance has aspired to be as well set up as you guys someday. Was it s***-talk? yeah...i suppose it was. You're only roped into this issue for being a participant in one battle. I'm sorry i even brought up your names...I should have kept my thoughts to myself there it wasnt productive to the core issue.     But....There is no way Inprotest is a human being with a life and also can be as active as he is 24/7, and win auctions, esp people the MOMENT they touch a moon/planet etc . Hes using bots. If using bots housed on local machines (not game-invasive scripts) is allowed for espionage, and auctions and everything else.... cool....power to him and others who do...and the issues i have now have clear resolutions/answers....and I'll begin setting mine up right away because this game just became more interesting. Maybe I'm totally wrong and every top player has a mostly-automated setup? Have I been playing this game wrong this whole time by...(checks notes) actually playing it with my own smooth brain and fingers in the little free time I have? lol


    In an attempt to slow down the S*** throwing I have started (sorry) I'd like to revert to the main issue which is it looks like hes using bots (again.... maybe thats totally allowed) but hes also claiming to be a GO (see screenshot above) to multiple people, and admin clarified "hes not a GO HERE". Admin DID NOT say hes not a GO anywhere else, admin DID NOT say " he shoulden't be namedropping his GO status in chat where he isnt a GO" , admin didnt say anything about any wrong doing here on Inprotests part. In fact, admin encouraged and emphasised the win of the battle this thread started about. Not the clearest discussion for sure, but I tried to just walk away at that point because its abundantly clear there wont be a perfect answer that makes everyone happy/understand everything, and I also don't really care that much tbh lol. I just wanna know we aren't dealing with a rogue GO with a distinctly unfair advantage, which admin says we aren't so what else can i say to that thats productive? Right?

    This is the base issue that most of us have with this player. look at the auction page history. I can speak from experience in a bunch of these auctions that he wins, he doesn't place a single bid more than 5-10 seconds or less before the end of the auction. ever. And he's not just "next highest bid (the double orange arrows)" button and bidding, he's punching in varying amounts (almost always the same number in different order/quantity 2.222 or 2.222.222 or 3.333 or 3.333.333) and faster than we can click the next bid and submit buttons. so he's either got unworldly hand eye coordination coupled with a manic obsession at refreshing the auction page to get the times down to under 10 seconds, or hes using a bot/script. And him making comments that he's a GO just implies to the rest of us that he knows how to get away with it and or the GO's that are "investigating" the tickets submitted are either covering up what he's doing (being furthered by the fervent defensed of the PLAYER, not the game by other GO's on this board).


    at the end of the day, the end result is you have alot of players left with a really bad impression of the game that alot of us have spent alot of time (and money in some cases) on and are less and less likely to continuing to play/spend.

    So to recap, what I am getting from this thread is that:


    - Openly mocking people on the forum for using DM is ACCEPTABLE

    - Going around telling people that you are a GO (even though you might not be one) is OKAY

    - Suspiciously winning almost every auction and being active almost 24/7 is NOT CHEATING

    - Having a profile pictures of Nazis is ALLOWED


    Right on lol. I guess Inprotest has it all figured out. It's possible that Inprotest is not actually cheating at all.. Maybe he is just a very passionate Ogame player with a lot of free time. That's fine, it's his life. This game can be harsh and can bring up all kind of strong emotions. I'm no saint, I've blown up many moons and smashed a few fleets likely upsetting people. However, just a bit of decency goes a long way.

    Inprotest, perhaps let other people win the auction time to time, or after crashing a fleet, let that player recover a bit before attacking again. And finally, don't need to mock people on the forum for using DM. Especially when everyone sees that your fleet was not build from just mining. This thread likely wouldn't have gone as far as it did if you wouldn't have mentioned the DM part. As for the profile picture, not sure what it's all about.
